Due to a lack of service support, the old car wash remained inoperative for more than 12 months.

The dealership’s previous automatic car wash had been out of operation for over 12 months. Despite repeated attempts to have it repaired by the original installer, no service was provided. As a result, the dealership decided to move on from the outdated system and seek a more reliable alternative.

With the system out of service, staff were forced to revert to manual washing. A full-time team member was dedicated to hand washing vehicles throughout the day, creating a time-consuming and inefficient process.

In addition to being non-operational, the machine had become outdated. Since its installation, vehicle sizes have increased significantly, with modern 4WDs and SUVs now larger, wider, and taller.  Upgrading the system was the right decision.

To meet the dealership’s requirements, a new M’Wash2 automatic car wash system was recommended. We were able to install the new machine directly within the existing wash bay at the rear of the service department, minimising the need for structural changes.

Utilising the existing infrastructure and restoring the water treatment system saved both time and money.

The old machine was removed, while much of the existing infrastructure was retained.

After more than 12 months of inactivity, the existing water treatment equipment, including the water softener and reverse osmosis system, was refurbished, flushed, and returned to full operation by our service technicians.

By utilising the existing infrastructure and restoring the water treatment system, the dealership was able to achieve significant savings in both time and installation costs.

Built to handle modern vehicles and tougher conditions

The new M’Wash2 was configured to accommodate larger modern vehicles, with the wash height increased from 2.3 metres to 2.5 metres and the wash width expanded from 2.4 metres to 2.6 metres.

Given the nature of the vehicles being cleaned, particularly customer service vehicles, wash programs were designed to work harder. An 8-minute wash cycle with additional passes was implemented to effectively remove heavier dirt build-up.

An underbody wash system was also installed, providing added protection by removing dirt and contaminants from underneath the vehicle, an often overlooked but valuable benefit for customers.
