Below are a few optional products that
are installed by Good Sight to supplement their car wash installations.
Fresh Water Break Tank Assembly
Good Sight can supply and install a 200 litre holding tank with a 2.5HP
415V 3 phase self priming pumping system and associated plumbing and valves
connecting pump to holding tank.
Note: It is a mandatory requirement to have a
break tank or an RPZD (reduced pressure zone device), to give a break
from the main water service to prevent any possible back-flow of pollutants
into city water services.
IBC Water - Water Softener

www.ibcwater.com.au
IBC offer a full range of water softener units to assist in the car wash
industry, by improving the quality of water to meet exacting requirements
and provide additional benefits.
Good Sight supply and installs a commercial size water softener unit
complete with plumbing and valves between break tank/pressure unit or
RPZD (reduced pressure zone device) and car wash unit. The water softener
is a recommended item that removes calcium and magnesium from the town
water supply.
Calcium and magnesium are some of the main causes of water spotting on
automotive paint finishes. Use of these softening systems in our carwash
installations, provides an excellent level of water quality.

UltraSpin - Water Reclaim System

www.ultraspin.com.au
UltraSpin is a company that specialises in 'Vehicle Wash Water Reclaim
Systems'. This enables the Car Wash to recycle the water used, cleaning
it as it goes. This helps save our precious water, while also reducing
water costs for you.
Good Sight supply and install this pumping system, along with commercial
size multi media (depth) filter unit, complete with plumbing, valves and
fresh water/reclaim manifold to car wash. This system requires the installation
of a suitable reclaim pit. In most states of Australia it is now a mandatory
requirement to use a water reclamation system on an automatic car wash
that uses in excess of 80 litres of water per wash cycle.
Please Note: A standard
installation would normally include a fresh water pumping system, to ensure
sufficient pressure is available to run the wash, and a water softener
in hard water areas to improve chemical operation. If it is intended to
reclaim water for use in the wash, a reclaim system consisting of a multi-chamber
underground silt arrestor, a reclaim filter and pumping system will also
be required. The local water authority may require an oil separation system
to be installed to separate oil from the waste water before it is fed
to the sewer.
How can this benefit you?
Reduce Costs - Lower water bills
Save Chemicals - No water treatment chemicals
Reduce Maintenance Cost - No Filter elements to replace
or clean
Cleaner Water - No odours, cleaner cars, cleaner sewage
discharge
